What Can Our Resource Library Do for You?

Stock photo of a bookshelf in a libraryThe Resource Library for the Integration of Oral Health and Medicine was created to serve as a one-stop-shop for informational sources in integrated healthcare, from publications to podcasts, videos, and case studies. Since its launch in April 2021, the library has been accessed by nearly 1,200 new users in 70 different countries.

“The integration space has been around for decades and is becoming even more popular, but it still can be hard to find a single source for information,” says Tien Jiang, DMD, MEd, one of the library’s co-creators. “We designed the Resource Library to be a user-friendly tool that gathers everything together in one place and can be used by everyone from practitioners and administrators to academicians and students.”

One of the most popular areas on the site is the collection of toolkits, guides, and training resources, which Jiang says are ideal for those looking to create their own integration programs but are unsure where they should begin.

“A lot of barriers to starting these kinds of integrated health programs are operational: how to implement forms or workflows,” says Jiang. “Here, we’ve collected resources from successful programs all over that you can borrow from and not have to reinvent the wheel.”

We frequently add new resources to keep the Resource Library up to date. If you know of material you think would be a good fit, please email us at integrationresourcelibrary@hsdm.harvard.edu.
